The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing and managing organization-wide cloud infrastructure and strategy.
As an architect, you will be responsible for architecting and managing organization-wide cloud infrastructure and strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and manage organization-wide cloud infrastructure ensuring scalability, performance, observability, resilience, and cost optimization.
- Own all Kubernetes clusters and service deployments.
- Improve observability and reliability of company systems by managing monitoring and alerting infrastructure.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines with infrastructure as code and full automation to provision and manage company application stack across different environments.
- Design and manage networking infrastructure with best-in-class security practices at multiple organization office sites.
- Work with organization security team on enhancing the privacy and security posture of the company infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Track record of managing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines with large impact.
- Has operated significant CI/CD infrastructure services like Jenkins, Argo CD, GitHub Actions, CircleCI, etc.
- Working knowledge of a programming language, preferably one of Python or Go.
- Working knowledge of Kubernetes.
- An appetite for working at a startup pace on challenging problems with a high degree of ownership.
- Understanding of infrastructure security practices.
- 8+ years of overall experience with 3+ years of experience in CI/CD.
- Experience designing and building cloud infrastructure with extensive experience in managing AWS security groups, IAM roles, Elastic Load Balancers, Cloud Formation, and other AWS services.
- Strong knowledge of VPN, AWS VPC, DNS, etc. and experience in troubleshooting network issues.
- Comfortability with tools such as Jenkins, Terraform, Ansible, Helm, etc.
