  • Develop and execute a social media strategy.
  • Curate, create, and schedule engaging content across all social media platforms.
  • Collaborate with the editorial team to repurpose and promote news articles.

Audience Engagement:

  • Monitor social media channels for trending topics and reader engagement.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and mentions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Foster a community around Kannada Prabha's social media presence.

Analytics & Reporting:

  • Track and analyze key social media metrics.
  • Prepare regular reports on social media performance.
  • Use data-driven approaches to optimize content and posting strategies.

Brand Voice & Compliance:

  • Maintain a consistent brand voice across all social media platforms.
  • Ensure all content is in compliance with journalistic standards.

Collaboration & Innovation:

  • Work closely with the design and video teams to produce high-quality visuals and multimedia content.
  • Explore and implement new tools and technologies to enhance Kannada Prabha's social media presence.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in social media management.
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Proficiency in social media management tools.
  • Knowledge of SEO best practices and web traffic metrics.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking with a strong sense of newsworthiness and timing.
