A successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional technical, communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills. This person will be detail-oriented, self-directed, and self-motivated, with the ability to effectively communicate with and share information within the IT organization and organization at large.

Job Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's Degree
  • Subject matter expert of PowerBI, with expertise in dashboards and reporting development
  • Ability to develop new reports and dashboards
  • Ability to implement enhancements in existing reports and dashboards
  • Ability to fix bugs/issues in existing reports and dashboards
  • Ability to self-learn the requirement by looking at the source code and implement the change or fix the bug
  • Bring in best of industry practices, coding standards, versioning, etc.
  • Ability to reverse engineer by understanding the code for existing reports and dashboards and prepare a functional document
  • Bring in design documents and standard templates for requirement gathering, testing, development, etc.
  • Ability to implement and recommend continuous improvements to streamline existing processes
  • Train the existing team on PowerBI and prepare training materials
  • Document all changes, enhancements, and new functionalities, reports and dashboards, etc.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams and business to understand the requirements quickly, document, and translate them technically through development
  • Self-learner, ability to research and debug the existing dashboards
  • Mentor and guide existing team
