Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Manager – Hardware / Physical Products to lead the development, testing, launch, and lifecycle management of our product lines.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in lighting, controls, EVs, automotive, or electronics, with a strong technical background, exceptional organizational skills, and a strategic mindset to drive products from concept to end-of-life.

You will collaborate closely with engineering, operations, marketing, and sales teams to bring innovative, market-ready hardware solutions to life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct competitive analysis, market research, and customer feedback collection to guide product priorities
  • Partner with R&D and engineering on design, prototyping, and functional testing
  • Ensure robust quality assurance and performance benchmarks before release
  • Oversee creation of technical specification sheets, installation manuals, and support materials
  • Coordinate internal teams (marketing, sales, training) to ensure successful product launches
  • Support technical training for internal teams and external partners
  • Monitor product performance, customer feedback, and profitability post-launch

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's in engineering, Product Design, or related field (master's preferred)
  • ~8–10 years of product management experience in hardware / physical product industries
  • ~ Preferred background in EVs, automotive, lighting, or controls
  • ~ Strong understanding of electrical/electronic components, compliance, and safety standards
  • ~ Experience working with cross-functional teams (engineering, operations, marketing, supply chain)
  • ~ Familiarity with CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks) a plus; proficiency in Jira, Confluence, MS Office / Google Suite required
