Job Summary

To ensure the smooth operation of plant machinery & equipment's and the effective functioning of the Maintenance Department, meeting planned production targets with desired quality within time.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive knowledge in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Computers, and Automation.
  • Standardize, evaluate, and control machine spares to optimize performance.
  • Familiarize with work and quality systems such as ISO, TS-16949, 5S, and TPM to maintain compliance.
  • Exposure to ERP systems like SAP and Oracle to streamline operations.
  • Comply with legal requirements (Factory Act) and environmental norms to ensure sustainability.
  • Train and guide maintenance crew in troubleshooting, modifying circuits and mechanisms, procuring and maintaining spares, analyzing breakdowns, and implementing corrective and preventive actions, as well as system implementation.
  • Contribute to and work independently in the strategic planning of various maintenance functions.

Functional Competencies/Skills:

  • Excellent analytical & problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Formulate, plan & execute comprehensive preventive, predictive & shutdown maintenance programs of machines.
  • Proficient in designing & reconditioning machine control panels to enhance efficiency.
  • Competent in material procurement, vendor development & negotiation to achieve cost-effectiveness.
  • Train & guide maintenance crew to develop their skills.

Requirements:

  • B.E/Diploma (Mechanical/Electrical) with relevant experience.
  • Minimum 15 years of hands-on experience in maintenance department while working with manufacturing industries on below types of machines.
  • PLC based Special purpose machines.
  • Utilities like D.G. Sets, Air compressors, Cooling towers, Transformers, HT/LT switchgears.
  • Hydraulic & Mechanical presses.
  • Material handling equipment's & conveyors.
  • Ovens & furnaces.
