Our company is seeking a skilled data professional to lead our team in delivering high-quality data engineering solutions. This position involves designing, developing, and deploying robust ETL pipelines using various Azure services.

Key Responsibilities

As a senior data engineer, you will oversee the development of scalable and efficient data integration workflows that meet business requirements. Your expertise in data governance practices, including data lineage, cataloging, and compliance with standards like GDPR or CCPA, will be essential in ensuring the security and integrity of our data.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline; or equivalent experience (minimum 7+ years)
  • At least 6+ years of consulting or client service delivery experience on Azure Microsoft data engineering
  • Strong background in data engineering and experience working with Azure services such as Fabric, Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks
  • Hands-on experience implementing data ingestion, ETL, and data processing using Azure services and big data technologies such as Python, SQL, ADLS/Blob, pyspark/SparkSQL
  • Minimum of 5+ years of hands-on experience in Azure and big data technologies
  • Experience in using Big Data File Formats and compression techniques
  • Technical leadership skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in developing and deploying ETL pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, and Azure Notebooks
  • Knowledge of Azure Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Hold relevant role-based Microsoft certifications such as DP-203: Data Engineering on Microsoft Azure and AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals
  • Familiarity with integrating Azure services with other cloud platforms or hybrid environments
