Job Opportunity:

Accounting Manager Position

  • Oversight of daily accounting activities, encompassing accounts payable/accounts receivable, ledger maintenance, and reconciliation.
  • Preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for accuracy and adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Ensuring timely and accurate GST filings, TDS compliance, and coordination with external auditors to maintain organizational standards.
  • Cash flow monitoring, budgeting, and forecasting in collaboration with senior leadership to inform business decisions.
  • Effective management of vendor and customer accounts to guarantee efficiency and precision.
  • Implementation and upkeep of internal controls and financial policies to optimize operational performance.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide actionable financial insights to support informed business choices.

Requirements and Expectations:

  • Comprehensive knowledge of Indian accounting principles, tax regulations, and compliance (GST, TDS).
  • Proficiency in industry-standard accounting software (e.g., Tally, Zoho Books, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Prior experience handling accounting for direct-to-consumer/e-commerce businesses is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and analytical skills are essential for success.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CA Inter or MBA Finance degree
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in e-commerce or D2C accounting roles
