We are seeking a highly skilled cloud data migration specialist to lead the transition of large-scale SQL workloads from on-premise environments to Azure. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced professional with a strong foundation in modern data engineering tools and platforms within the Azure ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing end-to-end data pipelines using Azure Data Factory or Synapse Data Factory to orchestrate migration and ETL processes.
  • We require a technical expert who can build and administer scalable, secure Azure Data Lakes to store and manage structured and unstructured data during and post-migration.
  • Our ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in utilizing Azure Databricks, Synapse Spark Pools, Python, and PySpark for advanced data transformation and processing.
  • This role involves developing and fine-tuning SQL/T-SQL scripts for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, and reporting in Azure SQL Database, SQL Managed Instances, and SQL Server.
  • Strong SSIS skills, including reengineering packages for Azure compatibility, are also essential.
  • The selected individual will collaborate closely with cloud architects, DBAs, and application teams to assess existing workloads and define the best migration approach.
  • Additionally, they will continuously monitor and optimize data workflows for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness across Azure platforms.
  • Adherence to best practices in data governance, security, and compliance throughout the migration lifecycle is crucial.

This position requires expertise in designing and implementing complex data migrations, ensuring seamless transitions between on-premise and cloud-based environments. The ability to adapt to changing requirements and priorities is vital. Our team operates in a dynamic environment where communication, collaboration, and flexibility are key.
