Job Description

The role of Cloud Infrastructure Manager involves overseeing the upkeep, monitoring, and maintenance of Microsoft Azure environments. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal operation and reliability of cloud-based applications and services.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain Azure cloud infrastructure, including virtual machines, storage, networks, and other cloud resources.
  • Monitor system performance and availability, ensuring seamless operation and high uptime.
  • Implement and manage Azure Active Directory, including user and group management, roles, and permissions.
  • Perform regular updates, patches, and security configurations to ensure the integrity and security of cloud environments.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery processes for Azure resources.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to support cloud-based applications and services.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Azure infrastructure and services.

Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Azure Administrator or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Compute, Storage, Networking, and Security.
  • Experience with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, PowerShell, and other scripting languages.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and management tools such as Azure Monitor, Azure Security Center, and Log Analytics.
  • Strong understanding of networking concepts and technologies, including VPN, VNet, and firewalls.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Azure certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate) are highly desirable.

Preferred Qualifications

We also welcome candidates with:

  • Experience with other cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
  • Experience with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Familiarity with compliance and security standards related to cloud environments.
