**Job Title:** Securities Operations Associate Manager

As a key figure in securities operations, you will lead a team of specialists to ensure quality and compliance. Your responsibilities will include managing the team, providing support as the first point of contact for delivery tasks and escalations, identifying opportunities for process improvement and risk control development, and ensuring the team consistently meets delivery expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Management: Manage a team of analysts and specialists responsible for income collection and entitlement processing.
  • Performance Expectations: Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching.
  • Asset Servicing Lifecycle: Ensure team members understand their roles in the broader asset servicing lifecycle.
Performance Management
  • Conduct Performance Reviews: Conduct performance reviews and development planning.
  • Training Opportunities: Identify skill gaps and provide training or mentoring opportunities.
  • Recognition and Reward: Recognize and reward high performance while addressing underperformance constructively.
Workforce Planning
  • Resource Allocation: Allocate resources effectively to meet operational demands and deadlines.
  • Staffing Levels: Manage staffing levels, including hiring, onboarding, and succession planning.
Operational Excellence
  • Culture of Accountability: Foster a culture of accountability, accuracy, and continuous improvement.
  • Issue Resolution: Encourage proactive issue resolution and escalation of risks or delays.
  • KPIs and SLAs: Monitor KPIs and service level agreements to ensure team efficiency.
Communication & Collaboration
  • Liaison Role: Act as a liaison between the team and senior management, middle office, and client service teams.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate regular team meetings and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Transparency and Open Communication: Promote transparency and open communication within the team.
Compliance & Risk Management
  • Internal Controls: Ensure team adherence to internal controls, compliance policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Audits and Reviews: Lead audits and reviews related to income servicing processes.
  • Risk Culture: Promote a strong risk culture and ethical standards.
Change Management
  • Process Changes: Guide the team through process changes, system upgrades, and organizational shifts.
  • Digital Transformation: Champion automation and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Resistance and Engagement: Manage resistance and build engagement during transitions.
