Nephrology Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Nephrologist to join our team at an esteemed medical centre in New Town, Rajarhat.

The hospital offers comprehensive tertiary care across various specialties including Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, and Nephrology.

The centre provides state-of-the-art facilities, advanced ICUs, and a 24x7 Emergency & Trauma Department to deliver exceptional patient care.

Job Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic kidney diseases with precision and compassion.
• Oversee and perform dialysis and hemodialysis procedures with utmost care.
• Collaborate with transplant teams to provide pre- and post-kidney transplant care.
• Conduct patient consultations, follow-ups, and long-term disease management with empathy and expertise.
• Work closely with multidisciplinary teams (Cardiology, Critical Care, Urology, Endocrinology, etc.) to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in hospital CMEs, clinical audits, and quality improvement programs to enhance patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

• MBBS from a recognized medical college is mandatory.
• MD (General Medicine) followed by DM (Nephrology) or equivalent DNB (Nephrology) from an NMC-recognized institute is required.
• Proven clinical expertise in dialysis, hemodialysis, and transplant nephrology is essential.
• Strong diagnostic, clinical, and patient management skills are necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a patient-first approach are required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary hospital environment is crucial.
• Previous experience in a tertiary care hospital is preferred but not mandatory for fresh DM/DNB graduates.
