Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Visionary Design Leader to lead our design operations globally. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving design quality, craft, and practice while enhancing the overall competency of their team.

Main Responsibilities
  1. Scale Design Operation: Lead the growth of the design operation from India, including team size expansion, complex client engagements, and global team collaboration to ensure best-in-class outcomes.
  2. Evaluate Service Offering: Assess our service offering and value propositions to clients, developing new models for closer design engagement with technology teams in agile settings.
  3. Strategic Design Thought Leadership: Provide thought leadership to the organization, publishing and speaking at internal and external events to build our reputation in the market.
  4. Strategy and Concept Creation: Direct strategy, approach, and concept creation for proposals, define storyline for pitches, and deliver engaging presentations to clients.
  5. Cultivate Relationships: Cultivate relationships with new and existing clients, uncovering opportunities to apply strategic thinking and creative craft to solve challenges leveraging India studios for best outcomes.
  6. Performance Assessment: Assess performance, provide career mentorship, and make performance decisions for senior members of the design team.

Your ideal candidate should be a true design practitioner with experience and remit, who can guide design thinking workshops, inform user research or service design challenges, structure CX Centres of Excellence, or set up design systems regardless of the region.
