Executive React Native Software Developer

About the Role:
EENADU TELEVISION PRIVATE LIMITED is a leading media company dedicated to delivering exceptional digital experiences across various platforms. We are seeking an experienced Senior React Native Developer with a strong background in OTT app development to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- We are looking for a skilled developer to design, develop, and implement high-quality OTT applications across multiple platforms, including iOS, Android, smart TVs (Roku, Fire TV, Apple TV, etc.), and web.
- The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including UX/UI designers, product managers, and backend developers, to ensure a seamless user experience across all platforms.
- This role requires a strong focus on maximizing app performance and responsiveness using native platform APIs as needed.
- Additionally, you will be responsible for identifying and resolving bugs, performance issues, and UI inconsistencies across all platforms.
- Efficiently handling third-party API integration and managing API requests with complex state management requirements is also essential.
- You will oversee app deployment to the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and web, managing release cycles and updates.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in React Native, TV app development, and cross-platform development is crucial for this role.
Requirements:
- We require at least 5 years of experience in software development, with a minimum of 3 years in React Native development across Android, iOS, Web, and ideally TV platforms.
- A strong background in developing and optimizing applications for TV platforms, such as Android TV and Apple TV, is highly desirable.
- Candidates should have solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and React fundamentals, with familiarity with TypeScript being a plus.
- Native mobile development skills, particularly in Java/Kotlin for Android or Swift/Objective-C for iOS, are advantageous.
- Experience with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs, as well as backend integration using Node.js or Ruby on Rails, is required.
- Version control expertise, particularly with Git, and experience in collaborative workflows are necessary.
- Familiarity with app submission processes for Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and web deployment practices is also essential.
- Strong problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a collaborative mindset are expected.
Preferred Skills:
- Proven experience in developing OTT applications for various platforms (TV, mobile, and web) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Redux or MobX for efficient state management is a plus.
- The ability to bridge native code for specific platform functionality is advantageous.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment practices is desired.
- Experience with cross-platform testing frameworks and debugging tools for React Native is beneficial.
