Recruitment Manager for Educational Institutions

Shemrock and Shemford Group of Schools is a leading network of educational institutions in India, Nepal & Bangladesh. We have 650 preschools, primary schools and 10+2 Schools across the country.
We are seeking a highly experienced Recruitment Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing the routine functions of the HR department, including hiring and interviewing staff, administering pay, benefits, and leave, and enforcing company policies and practices.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, Master's preferred, and at least 5 years of experience as an HR Manager or similar role. They will also have in-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices, excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills, and strong organizational and leadership skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
- Manage the recruitment process, including advertising open roles, shortlisting candidates, and conducting interviews.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Develop and monitor overall recruitment strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Oversee and manage performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout recruitment and human resource management.
- Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining an understanding of employee morale and addressing any concerns promptly.
- Design and implement comprehensive training and development programs.
- Handle workplace disputes, disciplinary actions, and other sensitive workplace issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field, Master's preferred.
- Proven working experience as an HR Manager or similar role for at least 5 years.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Knowledge of Naukri, Indeed, Internshala and Jobs.
Salary: ₹4-7 Lakhs per annum (depending on the candidate's qualifications and experience).
