Academic Excellence Leader

The role of Academic Excellence Leader plays a pivotal part in upholding the reputation of an institution by ensuring that all academic programs meet stringent quality standards. The incumbent will be responsible for formulating strategies for obtaining and maintaining accreditation from prominent accrediting bodies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accreditation Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive plans for securing and maintaining accreditation from recognized accrediting agencies.
  • Compliance: Ensure that the institution's programs and operations adhere to the standards set by accrediting organizations.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Compile and submit detailed self-assessment reports, annual updates, and other required documentation to accrediting agencies.
  • Coordination and Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact between the institution and accrediting agencies.
  • Quality Assurance and Improvement: Oversee internal reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement related to accreditation/rating/ranking.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in higher education administration, quality assurance, or accreditation roles is mandatory.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail are essential for accurate reporting and compliance.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are necessary for interacting with accrediting bodies, faculty, and staff.
  • A thorough understanding of the overall management education system in the country is crucial. Knowledge of NEP (National Education Policy), OBE (Outcome-Based Education) along with hands-on experience and understanding of AICTE compliance, NBA accreditation, NIRF ranking would be preferred.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • A full-time Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from a reputable institute is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with the standards and requirements of prominent accrediting bodies relevant to educational institutions.
