Senior Java Developer

Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, with a focus on designing, developing, and deploying high-quality software systems.

As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards through analysis, design, development, and deployment activities. You will review product specifications and produce top-quality technical design deliverables. You will also evaluate technical solutions for feasibility and fit, providing recommendations and feedback.

Collaboration is key in this role. You will work closely with Software and Quality Engineers to implement solutions, test, automate, and deliver high-quality features. You will perform thorough code reviews and provide actionable feedback. Additionally, you will document components and design, both in-code and on collaborative tools like Confluence.

Experience in microservice-based systems, Agile development tools, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and Test driven development tools is a must. Knowledge of API-driven platform development and software integration, as well as relational and non-relational databases, is highly desirable.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant experience working on Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
  • Experience building microservice-based high-performance, stable, scalable systems that have been successfully deployed in an enterprise setting
  • Experience mentoring other engineers
  • Knowledge of API-driven platform development and software integration
  • Must have expertise in relational and non-relational/noSQL databases like MySQL, Oracle, MongoDB, ES, etc.
  • Knowledge on agile development tools, CI/CD tools like Jenkins, and test-driven development tools
