Job Title: Human Resources Director

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Director to join our team at Artha Energy Resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives and organizational goals.
  • Mobilize and demobilize manpower as needed.
  • Recommend, develop, and streamline corporate HR policy and procedures.
  • Provide strategic direction and leadership in HR practices, policies, and programs.
  • Perform background checks and take security approvals.
  • Identify and address potential legal risks to mitigate legal issues.
  • Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and selection.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with recruitment agencies and educational institutions.
  • Manage employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and grievance handling.
  • Conduct employee engagement surveys and liaise between employees and management.
  • Develop and implement workplace health and safety programs.
  • Streamline and improve employee attendance, leave record maintenance, and holiday planning.
  • Ensure minimum workforce to avoid manpower shortage.
  • Coordinate with management for annual salary review and bonus programs.
  • Formulate overtime strategies to decrease overtime.
  • Administer and process monthly employee payroll, overtime, and accruals.
  • Identify training needs and coordinate training and development programs.
  • Support career development and succession planning initiatives.
  • Coordinate with department heads to prepare job descriptions.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Keep updated with changes in employment legislation and implement necessary adjustments.
  • Oversee salary administration, benefits programs, and compensation planning.
  • Conduct compensation benchmarking and ensure competitive pay structures.
  • Prepare and analyze HR metrics and reports to drive data-informed decision-making.
  • Monitor key HR performance indicators and implement improvements as needed.
  • Lead and mentor the HR team to achieve departmental and organizational objectives.
  • Manage HR staff, provide guidance, and ensure high levels of employee engagement and performance.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree or HR certification preferred. 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in manufacturing, solar industry, or infrastructure sectors. Proven experience managing a workforce of 500 employees. Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and best practices. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion. Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
