Conversational AI Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Conversational AI Engineer to design, optimize, and integrate conversational flows for our platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize conversational flows for our platform, incorporating multiple branches, edge cases, and real-life conversation patterns.
  • Translate business requirements into structured dialogue flows, ensuring high performance and reliability.
  • Integrate agents with external platforms via Make.com and/or n8n, streamlining workflows and improving scalability.
  • Debug and refine agent behavior to guarantee exceptional performance and reliability.
  • Document best practices and provide guidance on scalable agent builds.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to deliver client-ready solutions, meeting project goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • At least 2 years of experience in conversational AI, automation, or related fields, with a strong project portfolio.
  • Proven expertise with RetellAI.com, specifically in conversational flow creation.
  • Experience with Make.com and/or n8n for workflow automation.
  • Strong knowledge of webhooks, JSON, HTTP requests, APIs, and integrations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Evidence of completed projects showcasing real conversational flows.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in an hourly engagement model.
  • Fluent English communication skills.

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Experience integrating with CRMs, booking platforms, or call management systems.
  • Familiarity with other AI platforms for broader perspective.
