About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Data Modeling Architect to join our team at InstaTalent Recruit LLP. As a key member of our data architecture team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that support our business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into data models.
- Create and maintain Logical Data Models (LDMs) and Physical Data Models (PDMs) using best practices.
- Develop and maintain Source to Target Data Mapping documents, including documentation of entities, attributes, data relationships, and business rules.
- Gather and publish Data Dictionaries.
- Maintain data models and capture data models from existing databases.
- Design and develop data warehouses and data marts on cloud platforms, performing data profiling and quality analysis.
- Use version control to maintain data model versions.
- Design and develop data extraction and integration code modules.
- Partner with data engineers and testing practitioners to strategize ingestion logic and consumption patterns.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to design and develop next-gen data platforms.
- Monitor project progress and inform leadership teams on milestones and impediments.
- Coach team members and review code artifacts.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in data space.
- Significant experience in one or more RDBMS (Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server).
- Real-time experience working in OLAP and OLTP database models (Dimensional models).
- Comprehensive understanding of Star schema, Snowflake schema, and Data Vault Modelling.
- Experience with ETL tools, Data Governance, and Data quality.
- Ability to analyze data and work in an agile methodology.
- Adept understanding of cloud services (Azure, AWS, and GCP).
- Enthusiasm to coach team members and collaborate with stakeholders.
