Backend Software Developer Position

We are seeking a seasoned backend developer with extensive expertise in Python and related technologies to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing large-scale backend systems, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Architecting, designing, and developing robust backend services using Python.
  • Building and maintaining scalable RESTful APIs and integrating with internal/external services.
  • Designing and optimizing relational database schemas.
  • Implementing authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
  • Ensuring application security, performance tuning, and scalability.
  • Leading code reviews, mentoring junior developers, and driving best practices in coding standards.
  • Working closely with product managers, frontend engineers, and DevOps teams for smooth delivery.
  • Participating in architectural discussions and recommending technology choices.
  • Monitoring production systems, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring high availability.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Python (8+ years in backend development).
  • Expertise in PostgreSQL with advanced query optimization.
  • REST API design and development; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of microservices, scalable distributed systems, and event-driven architecture.
  • Familiarity with Git, Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure (deployment & scaling).
  • Knowledge of OWASP guidelines, data protection, and secure coding practices.
  • Unit, integration, and load testing experience.
  • Experience mentoring teams and contributing to architectural decisions.
