We are seeking a seasoned High-Performance ASIC Physical Design Expert to lead our team in India. In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic design and implementation of high-performance ASICs, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Strategy and Implementation: Develop and execute physical design strategies for high-performance ASICs, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Foster strong relationships with RTL designers, verification engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless design handoffs and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting knowledge sharing, skill development, and innovation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
  • 7+ years of experience in ASIC physical design, with expertise in advanced technologies and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, and scripting languages like Perl, Tcl, Python.
  • Experience with place and route, timing closure, DRC/LVS checks, and physical verification.
  • Familiarity with semiconductor manufacturing processes and design for manufacturability (DFM).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
