Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Jewellery Designer to conceptualise, design and develop innovative jewellery pieces that meet market trends and align with our brand identity.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Create original designs for various jewellery types (rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets etc.)
  • Utilize computer-aided design software (e.g. Rhino, Matrix, AutoCAD or JewelCAD) to develop detailed designs and technical drawings
  • Collaborate with clients or internal teams to understand design requirements and translate them into compelling pieces
  • Research market trends, materials and techniques to ensure innovative and competitive designs
  • Select appropriate materials, including metals, gems and other elements
  • Prepare design presentations and mood boards for client or stakeholder approval
  • Work closely with manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility and quality standards
  • Modify or revise designs based on feedback or production limitations
  • Maintain an organised portfolio of design work

Required Expertise:

  • Degree or diploma in Jewellery Design, Fine Arts or a related field
  • Proven experience in jewellery design (2+ years preferred)
  • Proficiency in CAD software and traditional hand-drawing/sketching techniques
  • Strong understanding of materials, gemstones and production processes
  • Excellent attention to detail and creativity
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • Knowledge of market trends and customer preferences
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
