Supplier Quality Engineer Job

The Role & Responsibilities:

  • Inspect critical parts to improve competency and ensure quality.
  • Enter supplier warehouse entries as required.
  • Review and confirm rejection quantities in SAP.
  • Issue communication to suppliers for confirmation or review.
  • Discuss and finalize with SQE, supplier representative, and others involved.
  • Audit containment plans for transit materials and submit containment forms in SAP.
  • Handle deviation queries as needed.
  • Close loop on segregation status.
  • Provide sorting support when urgency requires it or the supplier is not available.
  • Escalate delayed containment issues in SAP and modify Q-notes according to QRIP.
  • Modify SharePoint issue types (contributor/split/non-split) and communicate with suppliers through SQE.
  • Download rejection quantities from SAP and modify SAP Q-notes after discussion with RQA and SQE.
  • Analyze rejection data by supplier, component, and repetition.
  • Discuss CAPA status with SQE, review and upload CAPA on SharePoint, and conduct supplier end visits for verification.
  • Verify supplier online CAPA and review supplier correction marking and audit next 3 lots for conformance.
  • Create Q-info and quality plans, coordinate part movement, and update SQE supplier material received condition dock audits.
  • Coordinate with SQE/buyer if supplier representatives are unavailable and analyze urgent issues per SQE's guidance.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
