Financial Analysis Leader

The primary goal of this role is to support sales bid teams through financial model development, risk assessment and contract close-out.

Leads the scope, quality, risks, schedule and resources of company-wide pricing initiatives. Provides guidance to measure the effectiveness of analyses being performed.

Analyzes current and historical results of pricing activity and transactional data to identify opportunities and make recommendations to improve pricing performance.



- Develops financial modelling strategies for supporting team members and provides high-level guidance and oversight.
- Continues to design and build financial models for deal teams
- Applies industry knowledge and experience to actively challenge solution teams and discuss cost drivers/levers to achieve desired outcomes
- Works with stakeholders to understand environment changes and influence tool realignment
- Collaborates with stakeholders to draft policies that will help in deal selling
- Determines pricing strategies and negotiates required price structuring
- Leads pricing discussions with pursuit teams in preparation for customer meetings and communicates pricing behaviour over term with customers
- Takes a leadership role in structuring deals both with sales teams and clients, using supporting functions effectively to influence deal structure
- Proposes and negotiates T&Cs that achieve desired outcomes
- Reviews contracts and provides input on all financial-related T&Cs
- Ensures the team is prepared for governance processes from a financial/commercial perspective and can present a summary of the deal to all levels of management
- Recommends unbiased personal decisions
- Requires 10+ years relevant experience
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Graduate degree (like MBA/MS Finance) or professional certification (like CPA/CA/CMA) preferred
- Possesses expert knowledge of financial and pricing analysis principles
- Expert data analysis skills
- Demonstrated ability to train and mentor others
- Expert oral, written and presentation skills
- Ability to physically perform general office requirements
- Must be able to perform essential responsibilities with or without reasonable accommodations
