Integration Specialist

As a seasoned integration specialist, you will be responsible for designing and configuring cutting-edge solutions using SAP Process Orchestration (PI/PO) technology. Your expertise will include creating seamless interfaces and adapters, mapping and development, operations, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and configure SAP PI/PO AEX components in ESR/Integration Directory, ICOs, channels, adapter modules, runtime workbench, and PI monitoring to ensure efficient data exchange.
  • Develop expert-level knowledge of interfaces and adapters, including IDoc/ALE, RFC, SOAP/REST, File/FTP/SFTP, JDBC, JMS, HTTP, AS2, and secure interfaces with certificates, OAuth/basic auth, proxies, and load balancers.
  • Map and develop graphical mappings, XSLT, Java mappings, UDFs, error handling, persistency, and reprocessing; BPM/BPMN for orchestration and correlation.
  • Ensure seamless operations and performance by tuning queues/thread, caches, channels, EO/EOIO design, large message handling, archiving/housekeeping, alerting, and RCA.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Exposure to SAP CPI (Cloud Integration): iflows, OData/SF/Ariba/SuccessFactors adapters, certificates, and migration from PI/PO to CPI.
  • Knowledge of integration patterns and APIs: event-driven integration with JMS/Kafka gateways, API management, rate limiting, and caching.
  • Understanding of S/4HANA and ECC integration: IDoc extensions, proxy generation (ABAP/ESR), and OData/RFC performance tuning.
  • Experience with DevOps/Cloud: deployments on AWS/Azure/GCP, containerization of PO (where applicable), automation via Ansible/Groovy/Shell, monitoring with SolMan/Focused Run/ELK/Splunk, and Git-based versioning for mappings/artifacts.
  • Familiarity with compliance/localizations: e-invoicing/e-way bill connectors and digital certificate lifecycle; Portuguese/Spanish language is a plus.
  • Certifications: SAP Certified Development Associate – Process Integration/Orchestration; cloud provider certs.
