We are seeking a highly skilled CPU Verification Specialist to contribute to the development of scalable testbenches for high-performance, low-power CPU cores. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented engineer to drive complex test scenarios, ensure full functional coverage, and quality sign-off.

About the Role:
  • You will be responsible for developing and maintaining UVM-based testbenches for verifying CPU cores and subsystems.
  • Your expertise in writing directed and random test cases will be used to verify micro architectural features such as pipelines, ALUs, branch prediction, caches, MMUs, etc.
  • You will drive functional and code coverage closure, debug failures using waveform tools, logs, and simulation dumps.
  • Collaboration with architecture, RTL design, performance, and formal verification teams will be essential.
  • You will define and implement verification plans, test strategies, and regressions.
  • Participation in specification reviews, microarchitecture discussions, and design quality assessments will be expected.
  • Supporting post-silicon validation and bring-up teams when needed will also be part of your responsibilities.
Requirements:
  • A strong hands-on experience with SystemVerilog and UVM methodology is required.
  • A deep understanding of CPU microarchitecture (pipeline, out-of-order execution, caches, TLBs, memory hierarchy) is necessary.
  • Expertise in RTL simulation and debugging tools (VCS, ModelSim, Verdi, DVE, etc.) is required.
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Perl, or shell for automation is beneficial.
  • A good knowledge of functional coverage and assertion-based verification is essential.
  • Exposure to cache coherency, virtual memory systems, or multi-core architectures is a plus.
  • Experience with formal verification, emulation, or post-silicon debug is a bonus.
