Senior Interior Designer

Our company seeks a skilled Senior Interior Designer to lead and manage design projects. The ideal candidate will have excellent project management skills, strong aesthetic sense, and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors.

We are looking for a creative individual who can develop innovative design concepts that meet client needs and reflect current trends. The selected candidate will oversee multiple projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design Development: Create unique and functional space plans that optimize layout and enhance user experience.
  • Project Management: Coordinate with other team members and stakeholders to ensure successful project completion.
  • Client Consultation: Conduct meetings to discuss design ideas, preferences, and project requirements.
  • Material Selection: Research and select suitable materials, furnishings, and finishes that align with the design vision.
  • Documentation: Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and presentations using design software.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with professionals to maintain design intent throughout the construction process.
  • Mentorship: Provide guidance and support to junior designers.
  • Trend Research: Stay updated on industry trends to inspire and inform project work.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in interior design, with a focus on residential, commercial, or hospitality projects.
  • Proficiency in design software (AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Strong understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
  • A portfolio demonstrating a range of design projects and styles.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management software.
  • Knowledge of 3D rendering and visualization tools.

Work Environment:

The position may require occasional travel to project sites. Flexibility in hours may be necessary to meet project deadlines.
