Job Overview

We are looking for a seasoned CPU Performance Manager to lead our team of engineers in the development and verification of high-performance processors.

This role requires strong technical expertise, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple groups and subgroups.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in processor/ASIC performance correlation, micro-architecture testing, and writing tests to evaluate performance.
  • They should also possess strong programming skills in C/C++, Perl, Python, and solid knowledge of digital design, RTL design, and computer architecture.
  • A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering is required.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Lead a team of 10 engineers in developing and verifying high-performance processors.
  2. Provide technical guidance and support to ensure smooth functioning and delivery of work.
  3. Spearhead the activity of writing automated triages in Perl/Ruby and creating tools using Perl/Ruby or AMD verification methodology (primarily in C++) to enhance the functional debug and triage process.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in application performance analysis.
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and debug skills.
  • Prior experience in performance correlation of Processor subsystems is a plus.
