Product Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Product Engineer to bridge the gap between engineering and product teams. This individual contributor role requires someone who can deeply understand product requirements, implement end-to-end solutions, and coordinate effectively while maintaining focus on user experience and business value.

The successful candidate will take ownership of features from conception to launch, ensuring seamless collaboration between technical and product teams. They will have a strong understanding of product vision, business logic, and end-user needs, with excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Product Ownership: Bridge the gap between engineering and product requirements
  • Feature Development: Design and implement end-to-end features
  • Testing & Quality Assurance: Own feature testing, validation, and quality assurance
  • Technical Strategy: Make architectural and technology choices aligned with product goals
  • Stakeholder Communication: Translate business/product requirements for engineering teams
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 3+ years of software engineering experience with exposure to product management or project coordination
  • Strong coding skills in both backend and frontend technologies (Node.js, Python, React, etc.)
  • Experience with API development, integration, and database management
  • Product thinking with strong mindset for user experience and business value
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration
