About the Role

As a Senior Data Steward, you will play a key role in supporting data governance and data quality initiatives within one of our key business functions. You will collaborate with data consumers, data creators, and the central Data & Model Governance team to diagnose root causes and drive measurable data improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Implement data controls and drive compliance with data standards
  • Maintain data catalog information and monitor and manage data health within your portfolio
  • Investigate data issues to identify root causes and implement preventative data remediations
  • Review data exception reports and implement corrections, as required

About You

You're a fit for the role of Senior Data Steward if you meet all or most of these criteria:

  • Bachelor's degree required, with overall 9+ years of experience
  • 7+ years experience in Digital, Data, Analysis, and/or Technology roles
  • Practical experience working within a data ethics/governance framework
  • Process analysis skills, with the ability to translate business issues and requirements into actionable plans
  • Thorough understanding of data and systems infrastructures
  • Thorough understanding of data quality management
  • Technical skills in exploring, analyzing, profiling, and manipulating data sets (e.g. SQL, Python, Alteryx...)
