Job Description:

Our organization is seeking a seasoned FIX Analyst to join its global FIX Connectivity team. This role involves collaborating with clients, brokers, and their technology vendors for external communication.

  • The FIX Analyst will work closely with various teams, including Sales, Implementations, Development, Product Dev, and Support, to understand bespoke business workflows and translate them into software solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to grasp unique business requirements.
  2. Develop software solutions based on business needs.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of FIX protocol (versions 4.2/4.4).
  • Experience with programming languages (Java, C++, C, Python).
  • Unix/Linux-based operating system applications knowledge.
  • Database experience with basic SQL queries- Oracle/SQL.
  • Knowledge of the FIX certification process.
  • Experience in electronic trading environments, particularly in FIX onboarding or FIX Support roles.
  • Familiarity with networking protocols, VPNs, Extranet connectivity, and TCP/IP concepts.
  • Asset classes: Equities, Futures, Options, FX exposure.
  • Training and mentoring junior team members experience.
  • Jira project tracking, Confluence documentation, and knowledge sharing experience.

Preferred Skills:

  • Scripting knowledge in one of the following languages: Shell/Python.
  • Algorithmic Trading familiarity.
  • OMS/EMS, exchanges, or trading firms experience.
  • Developing tooling and processes to drive efficiencies experience.

Education:

Engineering Graduate from a premier institution.
