The role of a Quality Assurance (QA) Specialist plays a pivotal part in ensuring the quality and reliability of software applications.   • The QA Specialist is responsible for interpreting requirements and design to develop end-to-end test plans and overall test strategy.
  • This involves converting functional requirements into test cases and executable test scripts using Cucumber and Selenium.
  • The specialist delivers recovery plans, creates release documentation, and collaborates with stakeholders on timely deliverables.
  • Maintaining functional tests for web applications and REST API integration tests using SOAPUI or Postman is also a key responsibility.
  • Conducting system performance testing to ensure reliability, capacity, and scalability is crucial.
  • The QA Specialist analyzes test results and coordinates defect fixes with development teams.
  • Providing technical assistance to improve system performance, capacity, and scalability is another critical aspect of this role.
  • Performing pre-production and post-production testing, reviewing test results, and certifying/approving changes are additional responsibilities.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in quality engineering is required.
  • A solid understanding of database technologies and SQL databases is essential.
  • Experience with Cucumber, Selenium, and QA tools including automation and load testing is necessary.
  • A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle is required.
  • Experience in writing and running SQL queries is also essential.
  • Experience in creating and executing Automation Test suites is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Agile/SCRUM methodologies and Medical Bill Review is an added advantage.
