Job Title: Director of Information Technology
Naviga Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Information Technology to lead and manage the company's IT resources. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and services, managing IT staff, and driving technological innovations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend and execute the organization's IT strategy to align with business goals.
- Provide leadership and direction for IT initiatives, ensuring they support organizational growth, efficiency, and innovation.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation.
- Oversee the management of COE IT infrastructure, including on-premise networks, servers, software, databases, and hardware.
- Ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems.
- Develop and implement disaster recovery plans and business continuity strategies.
- Ensure the security of IT systems and data, following guidance from the VP of Cyber Security.
- Stay informed on relevant regulations and ensure compliance with all IT-related legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Lead major IT projects, including system upgrades, integrations, and implementations, both in cloud and on-premise environments.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful delivery.
- Track project progress, manage risks, and resolve issues to meet deadlines and deliver value.
- Work closely with leadership and departmental heads to understand business needs and provide technology solutions.
- Foster strong relationships with external partners, including cloud service providers, vendors, and consultants.
- Present IT strategies and solutions to the executive team and board members.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record of managing technology operations.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and software development.
- Exposure with Cloud Infrastructure, Networking & Security (AWS).
- Experience leading large-scale IT projects and digital transformation initiatives.
- Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Certifications such as PMP, ITIL, CISSP, or CISM are a plus.
