Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement large-scale data environments using cloud-based data platforms, ideally Snowflake.
  • Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines, data models, and performance tuning strategies to optimize data processing and analytics.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data solutions and drive business outcomes.
  • Analyze and interpret complex technical data to inform business decisions and develop strategic recommendations.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and methodologies to continually improve data engineering practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in data analysis, engineering, or solution design in Compliance, Risk, or Financial Services domains.
  • Strong knowledge of Power BI (DAX, Power Query, data modeling) and advanced SQL, especially with Snowflake.
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL/ELT pipelines, and performance tuning in large-scale data environments.
  • Solid understanding of analytics for risk and compliance use cases such as false positive reduction, alert triaging, and investigative workflow analysis.
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms, ideally in a Snowflake-based data lakehouse architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to distill technical complexity into business-oriented solutions.
