Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned system administrator to lead the implementation and maintenance of our Linux infrastructure.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and project alignment.
  • Design and implement infrastructure, including hardware, servers, and virtual machines.
  • Perform regular maintenance, upgrades, patches, and firmware updates to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide prompt and thorough technical support, including root cause analysis and testing.
  • Drive automation and suggest process improvements for operational efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for systems, processes, implementations, and support activities.
  • Recommend and implement support strategies to enhance system performance and reliability.
  • Collaborate with teams to validate system operability and resolve scheduling conflicts.
  • Monitor system health and performance metrics to proactively address potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards and security policies across all systems.
  • Manage and maintain physical Dell servers, ensuring optimal performance, troubleshooting, and hardware lifecycle management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent field of study in computer science or related field.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong communication and collaboration abilities, ability to work independently and as part of a team.
