Senior Conceptual Motion Designer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Conceptual Motion Designer to lead our design team at Talent XO. As a senior member of our team, you will be responsible for developing creative concepts, visual designs, and motion graphics that reflect our brand identity and resonate with our target audience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with our Head of Design to understand project requirements, objectives, and creative direction.
  • Develop innovative and visually compelling motion ideas, working independently or collaboratively with other designers.
  • Present design concepts and proposals to our Head of Design and other stakeholders, incorporating feedback and revisions as needed.
  • Ensure consistency and brand integrity across all design assets, adhering to established brand guidelines and standards.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and design best practices, sharing insights with the design team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business heads, strategy, copywriting, to ensure alignment and cohesion across projects.
  • Assist our Head of Design in managing the design team, providing guidance, mentorship, and feedback to junior designers as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, Fine Arts, Visual Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience (10 years) as a Conceptual Motion Designer, with strong conceptual and motion design skills.
  • Ability to generate innovative and visually compelling motion ideas, with proficiency in brainstorming and developing creative concepts.

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in design software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Figma, After Effects, Blender, Cinema 4D, and Illustrator.
  • Strong understanding of typography, colour theory, and layout design.

Portfolio:

  • A strong portfolio showcasing conceptual design work and creative problem-solving abilities.

Communication Skills:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to present and explain creative ideas to clients and team members.

Collaboration:

  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to collaborate with copywriters, marketers, and other designers.

Project Management:

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Key Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of brand identity and visual design principles.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
