We are seeking a skilled software developer to join our team as a Software Development Engineer-II (Backend). This role involves building efficient and reusable applications and abstractions, identifying and communicating back-end best practices, participating in project life-cycles, analyzing and improving product performance, scalability, stability, and security.

A day in the life of this engineer would include working with other engineers to build delightful feature experiences, understanding and solving customer pain points, and collaborating on solutions. The ideal candidate would have 3+ years of experience with a start-up mentality, high willingness to learn, and expertise in Python and web frameworks like Django, FastAPI, or Flask.

  • Expertise in Kubernetes and containerization
  • Experience in RDBMS & NoSQL databases such as Postgres, MongoDB, and OLAP databases
  • Experience in solution architecture and cloud service providers like AWS or Azure
  • Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem-solving skills

Preferred skills for this role include expertise in Python, working with Kubernetes, any SQL or NoSQL database, and distributed systems. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering is also required.
