Business Analysis Specialist Role

This position involves undertaking in-depth business analysis for large-scale IT projects, interpreting stakeholder expectations into functional and technical specifications, and ensuring alignment with business logic, user requirements, and project governance processes.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in conducting business analysis for complex IT projects. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct requirement-gathering sessions with diverse stakeholder groups to capture functional and non-functional needs.
  • Translate business needs into detailed reports, process flows, and user stories for development teams working on microservices-based architectures.
  • Analyze existing platforms, identify overlaps, redundancies, and opportunities for consolidation into unified digital ecosystems.
  • Map detailed workflows for core modules such as beneficiary/user management, service lifecycle management, grievance redressal, inspection processes, and system integrations.
  • Define acceptance criteria, data validation rules, and reporting metrics for KPIs and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with UI/UX teams to ensure wireframes, mockups, and layouts reflect user requirements and accessibility guidelines (WCAG 2.1).
  • Work with technical architects and integration teams to validate API specifications, authentication flows, and RBAC configurations.
  • Support data mapping and migration plans involving relational, NoSQL, and search-indexing databases.
  • Ensure AI-powered tools are effectively aligned with business logic and user needs.
  • Participate in UAT cycles, develop test scenarios from business requirements, and validate system outputs against expectations.
  • Document SOPs, training materials, and knowledge transfer content for end-user adoption.
  • Track requirement changes, maintain traceability matrices, and ensure alignment with project governance processes.
