Higher Education Admissions Strategist

We are seeking a highly skilled Higher Education Admissions Strategist to join our team at GITAM Deemed University. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional to lead our admissions efforts and drive student enrollment growth.
About the RoleThe Higher Education Admissions Strategist will be responsible for overseeing and executing our student recruitment strategy, ensuring effective management of the end-to-end admissions process. This includes application reviews, eligibility checks, and academic qualification assessments. The successful candidate will also facilitate decision-making for admissions as per the university's policies and guidelines.
This role requires strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders. If you have a proven track record in admissions or a related field, excellent knowledge of higher education, and exceptional interpersonal skills, we encourage you to apply.
Main Responsibilities- Manage the entire admissions process, from application intake to decision-making and student onboarding.
- Foster strong relationships with schools, colleges, and educational consultants to promote our programs.
- Represent the university at educational events, college fairs, and information sessions to engage prospective students and promote our brand.
- Develop and maintain accurate reports and analytics to measure conversion rates and inform future recruitment strategies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless workflow and timely completion of tasks.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field (Architecture, Education, or Management preferred).
- A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in admissions or a related role, preferably in the higher education sector.
- Proven ability to develop and sustain a strong network with schools and colleges.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- High proficiency in MS Office tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Self-motivated, team player, and results-driven individual with a positive attitude.
- Familiarity with architecture education and its unique admission requirements.
- Experience in managing or participating in education-focused events and fairs.
The salary range for this position is ₹10,00,000 - ₹15,00,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
