Seeking a seasoned Azure expert to administer SAP Business One environments hosted on Microsoft Azure. Part-time, remote support required to ensure smooth operation, high availability, and security of SAP B1 workloads running on the cloud.

  • Administer and support SAP Business One on Azure, encompassing VMs, databases, networking, storage, and security.
  • Regular system monitoring, patching, performance tuning, and troubleshooting essential.
  • Manage Azure resources efficiently, ensuring cost optimization and scalability in the process.
  • Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and high availability strategies to safeguard against unforeseen events.
  • Collaborate with SAP consultants, developers, and business teams to address technical requirements and resolve complex issues.
  • Ensure compliance with Azure governance, security, and IT best practices throughout the organization.
  • Automate repetitive tasks using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or related tools whenever possible.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven hands-on experience as an Azure Administrator (certification preferred).
  • Practical knowledge of SAP Business One administration, including SQL Server / HANA expertise beneficial.
  • Strong understanding of Azure IaaS/PaaS services, specifically VMs, networking, storage, monitoring, and backup.
  • Expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, and SQL Server administration.
  • Exceptional troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in cloud environments.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote, part-time capacity with flexible availability.

Nice to Have:

  • Familiarity with Azure Security Center, Azure Monitor, and Azure Cost Management.
  • Knowledge of SAP Business One integrations with external applications.
  • Prior experience in SAP workload migration to Azure.
  • 10+ years of IT experience
