Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend services in Rust, optimizing performance, memory usage, and reliability.
  • Build and enhance APIs and data pipelines that interface with internal systems, external partners, and end-users.
  • Apply best practices for secure coding, conduct thorough code reviews, and implement testing strategies to mitigate vulnerabilities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Profile, benchmark, and refine code to reduce latency and enhance user experience.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of software development experience, with at least 1–2 years of hands-on experience coding in Rust.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Skillset

  • Rust Expertise: Strong proficiency in Rust programming and its ecosystem.
  • Backend & Distributed Systems: Understanding of distributed systems architecture and microservices.
  • Performance & Concurrency: Proven experience profiling applications and handling concurrency safely.
  • Version Control & CI/CD: Comfortable with Git-based workflows and continuous integration.
