Backend Software Development Role

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services.

  • The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Node.js development and MongoDB.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) is required, along with knowledge of REST API development and Git version control.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and Develop Backend Services: Create efficient and scalable backend services using Node.js.
  2. Maintain Existing Codebase: Continuously review, optimize, and refactor existing code for improved performance and reliability.
  3. Collaborate with Frontend Developers: Work closely with frontend developers to deliver high-quality web and mobile applications.
  4. Troubleshoot and Debug: Participate in troubleshooting and debugging for backend-related issues.
  5. Communicate Effectively: Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.

Required Skills:

  • Node.js Development: Strong hands-on experience with Node.js development and strong backend focus.
  • MongoDB Experience: Hands-on experience with MongoDB and ability to design efficient schemas.
  • JavaScript Proficiency: Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and understanding of advanced concepts like Promises and async/await.
  • REST API Development: Knowledge of REST API development and ability to build optimized APIs.
  • Git Version Control: Experience with Git for version control and collaboration.

Bonus Skills:

  • Frontend Development: Experience with React.js or Angular for frontend development.
  • Elasticsearch Knowledge: Familiarity with Elasticsearch and ability to integrate it into the application.
  • Microservices Architecture: Familiarity with microservices architecture and serverless architecture.
