About this role:

We are seeking an experienced Material Availability Analyst to join our Supply Chain and Logistics team. As a key member, you will play a crucial role in maximizing external supplier performance by understanding our global supply network.

Responsibilities:
  • Serving as a focal point for suppliers, following up on requirements to minimize past due schedules.
  • Focusing on inventory management to prevent excess material within the network.
  • Reviewing and acting on schedule releases and follow-up for on-time shipments.
  • Collaborating with global purchasing buyers and analysts on problem parts.
Requirements:
  • Degree or equivalent experience desired.
  • Accuracy and Attention to Detail:
    • Understanding the importance of accuracy.
    • Ability to complete tasks with high precision.
  • Collaboration:
    • Knowledge of effective collaboration techniques.
    • Ability to work with diverse individuals and groups in a constructive manner.
  • Problem Solving:
    • Knowledge of approaches and tools for recognizing and resolving organizational problems.
    • Ability to apply knowledge in diverse situations.
  • Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP):
    • Knowledge of the process and considerations for managing distribution of inventory.
    • Ability to apply related knowledge and experience.
  • Logistics Management:
    • Knowledge of logistics principles and processes.
    • Ability to follow proper procedures and operate efficiently.
  • Manufacturing Application Systems:
    • Knowledge of company databases and applications used in manufacturing environments.
    • Ability to operate and maintain these systems.
  • Materials Handling and Management:
    • Knowledge of material handling and management practices.
    • Ability to monitor and improve storage, transportation, and handling processes.
