About the Role: As a High-Performance Python Engineer, you will be instrumental in optimizing and automating various aspects of our trading operations, financial processes, and core engineering functions. You will design, build, and maintain robust Python-based tools and systems that support our trading strategies, financial reporting, and technical infrastructure. Your role will involve collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance solutions driving our firm's success.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, design and maintain robust Python-based tools and systems supporting our trading strategies, financial reporting, and technical infrastructure.
- Ensure systems are robust, scalable, and meet the performance demands of high-frequency trading environments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of our infrastructure and tooling to enhance the speed and reliability of trading strategies.
- Write unit tests and maintain clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including devops and infrastructure engineers, to ensure smooth deployment and operation of trading systems.
Requirements:
- Over 1 year of experience in Python, with expertise in relevant libraries and frameworks such as NumPy, pandas.
- Proficiency in handling and processing large datasets, with a solid understanding of data integration and ETL processes.
- Good knowledge of algorithms and data structures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills.
- Good understanding of Linux.
- Excellent communication skills for interfacing with multiple teams within Graviton.
Compensation Package: The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $120,000 - $180,000 based on industry standards and location considerations.
