Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Automation Tester to join our organization. The successful candidate will have a strong background in automation testing, with a focus on Java and scripting languages.

  • Core Accountabilities:
  • Design and implement automated test scripts using Java and other programming languages.
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify and resolve defects.
  • Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation tests.

Necessary Skills

  • Strong knowledge of Java and scripting languages.
  • Experience with automation testing tools such as Selenium.
  • Working knowledge of RESTful APIs and automated API testing.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks (Cucumber, TestNG, or JUnit).
  • Proficient in at least one database type (Relational or NoSQL).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.

Desirable Qualifications

  • Experience working with Jenkins or other CI/CD tools.
  • Strong agile background, including Scrum ceremonies.
  • Experience with bug tracking tools such as Jira.

Technical Expertise

  • Advanced understanding of software development methodologies.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
