Job Title: Identity and Access Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain identity systems including Active Directory and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Implement and enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) policies across systems.
  • Monitor and report on identity-related activities, access patterns, and anomalies to ensure security and compliance.
  • Collaborate with security architects to design and improve identity infrastructure for scalability and efficiency.
  • Support audit and compliance efforts by providing identity-related evidence and reports.
  • Assist in user lifecycle management processes and access provisioning/deprovisioning to meet business needs.
  • Identify and remediate identity security risks and misconfigurations to protect sensitive data.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IAM processes and standards to facilitate knowledge sharing and best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in Active Directory (AD) and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Understanding of identity reporting and analytics including access logs and entitlement reviews.
  • Knowledge of identity architecture, protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID), and lifecycle management principles.
  • Ability to manage RBAC models and implement least privilege and zero trust principles.
Nice to Have:
  • Experience with Azure IAM features including Conditional Access and Privileged Identity Management.
  • Exposure to AWS IAM and cloud identity integrations.
  • Scripting or automation skills including PowerShell and Python.
  • Azure DLP (Purview) expertise.
