Textile Laboratory Specialist

The ideal candidate will have a strong educational background in Textile Technology or related field. They should possess excellent technical knowledge of testing procedures, including familiarity with textile lab testing standards such as AATCC, ISO, and ASTM.

• Conduct laboratory tests and analyses to determine the physical properties of fibers, yarns, and fabrics.
• Operate and calibrate various laboratory instruments, including spectrophotometers and tensile testers.
• Interpret test results and provide accurate data entry and reporting in SAP PP QM module.
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized laboratory environment, adhering to 5S principles and IMS guidelines.

• Basic understanding of sustainable certifications, including GOTS, GRS, OCS, OEKO-TEX, FAIRTRADE, and BCI.
• Knowledge of restricted substances and ZDHC MRSL RSL compliance.
• Ability to learn and document traceability documentation and input-output reconciliation.

The Laboratory Technician will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with various departments, including dye house, finishing team, QA, and marketing. The successful candidate will be willing to learn and adapt to laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and safety rules.
