We are seeking a highly skilled Development Lead to drive our cloud-native application development initiatives. This is a leadership role requiring a balance of strategic technical direction, team leadership, and hands-on development.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Lead and mentor development teams in designing and implementing cloud-native applications using Azure PaaS services.
2. Develop Single Page Applications (SPAs) and dynamic web applications using React.js, Redux, and modern JavaScript UI libraries.
3. Build and deploy serverless back-end routines using Azure Functions.
4. Design and orchestrate RESTful APIs adhering to REST v3 standards, and manage them via Azure API Management.
5. Collaborate with DevOps teams for deploying and monitoring apps in Azure environments.
6. Ensure scalability, security, and performance of cloud-native applications.
7. Conduct code reviews, ensure coding best practices, and mentor junior developers.
8. Stay up to date with emerging Azure services and development frameworks.
9. Communicate technical decisions, architecture, and strategy clearly with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Core Technical Skills:
1. 5+ years of hands-on development experience with Azure Cloud Native (PaaS) services.
2. Expertise in Azure App Services, Azure Functions, and serverless architecture.
3. Strong front-end development skills using JavaScript/TypeScript, especially with React.js and Redux ecosystem, UI component libraries and themeable UI frameworks.
4. Advanced proficiency in Python (v3.8+) with object-oriented design and reusable module development.
5. Deep understanding of REST API design, API integration, and Azure API Management.
6. Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and automated deployments in Azure.
7. Familiarity with security, authentication (OAuth, JWT), and data privacy best practices in cloud applications.

Leadership & Collaboration:
1. 3+ years of experience in leading development teams and managing cloud projects.
2. Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally with architects, QA, DevOps, and business teams.
3. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
4. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Microsoft certifications are a plus.
2. Familiarity with Azure DevOps, Containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is desirable.
3. Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems is beneficial.
