Financial Project Manager

Manage the financial aspects of projects to ensure accurate cost tracking, billing, reporting, and statutory compliance. This role supports project managers with timely financial insights to drive profitability and adherence to regulations.

  • Set up and monitor project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures.
  • Track costs, revenue recognition, and profitability of projects.
  • Prepare project financial reports (P&L, cash flow, variance analysis).
  • Manage customer billing, collections, and vendor payments.
  • Ensure statutory compliance in India.
  • Support audits, statutory filings, and year-end reporting.
  • Partner with project managers for financial reviews and risk management.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance (M.Com/CMA Inter preferred).
  • 5–8 years' experience in project accounting/finance.
  • Knowledge of Ind-AS, GST, TDS, and compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in ERP/project accounting systems (SAP).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge on RA Bills processing is required.

  • Accuracy of reporting and compliance filings.
  • Timeliness of billing and collections.
  • Adherence to project budgets and statutory requirements.
  • Support to improve project profitability.
