Job Description

We are seeking a skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Selenium WebDriver, Java, and ETL testing. The successful applicant will design, develop, and execute automated test scripts to validate both UI functionality and data integrity across ETL processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Perform ETL testing to validate data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
  • Write and execute SQL queries to validate data at the source, staging, and target systems.
  • Perform UI testing to ensure functional correctness of web applications.
  • Validate that data displayed in UI matches the underlying database (end-to-end).
  • Identify, analyze, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Work in Agile/Scrum teams, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Contribute to test frameworks and reusable components for automation.
  • Ensure test coverage, traceability, and adherence to QA standards.

Required Skills & Experience

We are looking for a candidate with the following skills and experience:

Skills:

  • 4–6 years of experience in QA Automation Testing.
  • Strong experience in Selenium WebDriver with Java.
  • Hands-on experience in ETL/Data Warehouse testing.
  • Proficiency in SQL queries for data validation.
  • Experience in TestNG / JUnit frameworks.
  • Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Defect Lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven, etc.).
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
